1875 a printed letter-sheet published by “W.J.Meek & Son, 82, City Road E.C.” depicting a cut-out coloured drawing of a Victorian dandy by his fireside with a flap showing below the same character in his nightdress holding two bawling babies with below a printed inscription. “Before you were wed, what a life you led, yawning and chaffing each hour away, but since that girl turned your head, you never have peace by night or day”.
