1860 an envelope bearing an 1856 6d lilac issue addressed to George Grant, Assistant Surgeon, Delhi, India, being tied by the type V "Arisaig" Inverness-shire, Scots Local handstamp in black ink and dated on reverse by the parent office of Fort William for JA 26 1860. A very rare mark partucularly so on an overseas cover from such a remote office. Bov#799
