1857 an envelope addressed to Georgetown, Demerara, bearing on front the type V "Southend" Argyllshire, Scots Local handstamp and instruction "Paid 6d" in red manuscript, where on arrival at the parent office of Campbeltown the 1856 6d lilac issue was affixed and tied by the "65" numeral in black ink and dated on reverse for NO 14 1857.
