1855 British Army in the Crimea. An envelope addressed to Brighton bearing three examples of the 1854 1d red-brown issue Perf 14 Alp 1, each being tied by the “OXO” handstamp in black ink and bearing on reverse the red British Army circular datestamp for DE 2 1855, and sent from Constantinople. A rare and most attractive cover.
