1916 envelope addressed to Middlesborough bearing a KGV 1d issue being tied by an Admiralty "dumb" handstamp in black ink and bearing alongside the violet boxed "H.M.S. "Maid of Honour" Passed Censor" handstamp. H.M.S. "Maid of Honour" was a steam yacht based at Stornoway, Isle of Lewis, and requisitioned by the Admiralty. A very scarce and most attractive cover.
