1857 an envelope bearing seven examples of the 1d rose-red issue paying the 6d "Registered" and 1d postage rate to Dunoon with the top five issues being tied by the "Glendaruel" type III Scots Local handstamp in blue ink and the bottom two issues (possibly missed) by the "Strachur" type VIII local handstamp in black ink. On arrival in Greenock, each issue was further cancelled by the "163" roller mark in black ink. Some faults, though a rare and remarkable cover, being the only known Scots Local cover having three diffrent cancellation types. Bov#179
