1857 a wrapper bearing a horizontal pair of the 1854 1d orange-brown issue being addressed to Inverary, being tied by a superb single strike of the type III "Furnace" Argyllshire, Scots Local handstamp in blue-black ink and dated on arrival at Inverary for 27 AP 1857. A very rare mark indeed on cover we have less than three recorded. Bov#817
