1848 wrapper bearing an 1841 1d red-brown issue addressed to "The Inspector of Poor of Mid & South Yell" being tied by the "223" numeral of Lerwick and dated on reverse for JN 2 1848. The front of the wrapper bears the manuscript instruction "Mifsent to Linkshe" with the reverse bearing the "Linkshouse" local handstamp in black ink. A rare example of a "Missent" cover within the Shetland Islands. Bov#17
